Man.. I feel sick!! Just inhaled a breathful of BAYGONE while spraying a multitude of Drosophilae (Simply, Fruitflies. =P) LOL.. Some of the crazy things I do..
Anyway, had a talk with Jeff last night. It's sure tough to be an 'adult'. You gotta think of your career.. Marriage.. Family and stuff... We have one thing in common - We both have cute fathers!!!! HAHAHA.. They both crack lame jokes and thought we are laughing at the jokes but are actually laughing at them. LOL.. Anyway I mentioned about Beloved Birdy and he was trying so hard to picture her face hahaha..
Me and Bird really can flow!!! To an extent that it's quite scary at times hahaha.. We spent our Sunday night nua-ing around Orchard and being cheapskate and thick-skinned all at once. LOL.. Love your company Bird! We witnessed something spectacular too!!! A bright, round moon surrounded by a ring of rainbow!!!!!!!! We were awe-strucked and stood in the middle of a street just staring at it.
For some reasons, I am really attracted to the sky. Haha..

Had orchestra prac ytd and while fiddling with my cello before it started, Eric came up to me and commented that I have improved! I smiled, but in my heart I was jumping 10-story high. It's little encouragement like that that spurs us on... to practise even harder...
LOL it's really hard not to fall in love with Charles... Ytd was quite a cello marathon LOL.. Cos I had cello lesson before prac too.. Oh man.. I'm obsessed already..
LOL.. and the day before, I had an eating marathon!!!! Goodness I thought it only happens in HK... It was Weiying's farewell as she'll be flying back Aust again.. So firstly we had a Jap buffet and then a 2-hr interval, followed by Cafe Iguana and then Brewerkz. LOL.. I felt fat immediately. LOL..
I don't know, I'm so easily cracked up recently LOL...

One kind of people that amazes me - talkative people.
Serious. I don't know how they can go on and on and on... and on. without stopping. It seems like they have only commas in their sentences. I am really amazed cos sometimes, I have nothing much to say... and sometimes I don't bother making small talks... It's quite boring I think. But not as much as senseless blabbering.
One nerdy fact - I miss GP lessons with Sally.
GP rocks... LOL.. Totally. I love how Sally discussed various affairs of the world with us. LOL. She always talked with such conviction and confidence LOL.. and it was interesting hearing her discussed with herself. LOL.. The best part is there is no right or wrong answer. But the worst part was GP homework.
On why I didn't do her work..
Me: I don't think it benefits me and I find no point in doing...
Sally: *blabber & grumble*

Hmm.. another alternative would be to shift those stuff into my room.. Soundproof my room.. ($40,000) And I shall live happily ever after... The end.
It sucks totally to not being able to play your stuff in serenity.. To have someone BLASTING the tv while playing.. To have someone putting hot cups on your piano leaving nasty stains... @*$#^@!%)Q#&

It's good to do random things and meet random people out sometimes...
I finally met Junyang from JJ just now.. at 10.30 PM.. PM!! Reason being, it was quite hard to fix a day with him as he is in the army and my schedule is unpredictable.. So after I had confirmed with him, my cello teacher invited me to his concert on thurs and thus I had to shift my tuition to friday hahaha.. thus had to meet him that late.. Ok enough of the boring stuff..
We watched a random movie as there wasn't any nice ones currently.. He chose "Vacancy" which he thought was the nicest..

Yang's having piano withdrawal haha.. HANG ON!! lol.. Piano can get really addictive. Since Monday I have been spending hours on the piano everyday.. Free entertainment. =)
Went to watch the SNYO's concert earlier on, I was quite captivated and throughout the whole performance my heart was thumping rather quickly.. I told Jem I felt nervous for my teacher lol.. but I guess there was sth more I donno.. Anyway I thought he was awesome and I thought the cellos sounded the best. =) And any guy would look a million bucks with suit and a bow tie playing an instrument. Any guy. =) Especially cellists.. Lol.. *grinning in my heart* It's such a beautiful instrument.. Ok i'm getting a tard biased here lol..
Anyway, the choir and the orchestra will be performing in 2 or 3 weeks' time! I'm quite sure it'd be a new breakthrough for CHC. So stay tuned! =P *my classic pun lol*

There were 2 girls sitting behind us and they were displaying poor audience etiquette. Totally. Criticise criticise criticise... It was quite irritating after a while.. If we were that good, we won't be sitting below.. So if anyone is on stage doing their stuff the best they know how, as audience we can do our part too by giving our best attention and support.
Anyway, the choir and the orchestra will be performing in 2 or 3 weeks' time! I'm quite sure it'd be a new breakthrough for CHC. So stay tuned! =P *my classic pun lol*

LOL... It's such a fun day!!!! Went with Yang to play piano at the Esplanade!!! The practice room is the friendliest piano room ever, (typical rooms are cold and walled up) it overlooks the city skyscape and Marina Bay.. Breathtaking view which gave playing a new experience.. It's located in a corner of the Esplanade library and it's not sound-proof!!! To my delight, I saw an uncle sleeping blissfully on a couch outside.. LOL..
Yang is a fantastic pianist! Yiruma-fanatic lol.. So inspired by him... Still a loooong way to go for me.. We tried to play some duet pieces but well... LOL.. it got quite messy with 20 fingers on a keyboard.. LOL.. And I think I make a bad partner LOL... PRACTISE!!!!!!!
After that I went for cello lesson.. It's quite physically demanding carry Charles around... Yang should know.. LOL... Anyway, my teacher is performing this Thursday at Victoria Concert Hall with the Singapore Youth Orchestra. Tickets at $5, get it from Sistic. =) *promote promote*

I love today! Spent my entire day playing music.. lol.. Made myself play this song that I've shoved aside for so long (too lazy to try) I don't even remember I have it.. It is a song by Yiruma (A Korean pianist) titled "First Love".. I must admit I teared a little while playing.. And had goosebumps.. Goodness this is the power of music... Something that will never ever bore me even till my dying days...
Anyway, I'm currently reading a book titled "Great Pianists Speak" and in it was quoted "A musician is a person who, first of all, has an open mind about everything in connection with music. He is a person who is willing to listen to anything; a person who is willing to study and consider all angles and approaches to music, open to all ideas and sufficiently learned to make a choice as to what he wants to do and the road that he wants to follow."
In my opinion, I feel that the word "musician" is used too loosely now. People seem to love to be known as a musician.. You think so? I feel that to have the title of a "musician", it takes more than just being able to sing, play some notes or being part of a band or an orchestra.. With that title, it comes a hell lot of commitment, sacrifices, failures, heartaches, discipline, crazy persistence, diligence and you-name-it. Now, how many musicians are left?
Had a conversation with Leon during prac just now... He pointed out that some classical players think that pop/rock music are bad music.. *roll eyes* (please refer to the above definition of a musician) I feel that all forms of music express emotions that another genre can't express as clearly. Like do you hear bars and clubs playing classicals?!?!?! So it leads me to think that music sounds the nicest when it is appropriate and relevant to the present situation and when it is appreciated.. Like we sometimes like it loud and 'noisy' and sometimes a little mellow.. Therefore we really shouldn't depise another form of music.. (I suddenly thought of chinese orchestra haha nvm..) It all boils down to different perferences I think..
Open for discussions. (Please discuss with me!!! Hahaha..)

Life is short. And I don't like it when people want me to become what I'm not called to become.. Don't we all have our own dreams? Mine may be different from yours... But it doesn't make it inferior just because yours is more 'socially accepted'..
I really like last week's sermon about the 7 mountains.. Isn't it so true?? Take note that he drew all mountains with the same height. Meaning all are equally important. Cultural mandate. We all have our own different roles to play and I can't play your role as good as you can and vice versa.
Btw, I have a really cool dad!!! hahahaha.. random..

I've lost faith in Singapore DOCTORS. If they can't even cure a tendon tear, I donno how to trust them with anything more severe...
I went to SGH on the 22/5/2007 for my tendon tear treatment..
Doctor was smart enough to identify it as a tendon tear and he promised that it would recover in 3 days. (It's been more than 33 days......) Having known the half-hearted way Sg doctors treat their patients, I had to double confirm.
"Healed BY ITSELF??"
"Ya."
"In THREE days?"
"Ya."
"So I DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING?"
"Ya just rest and take the PAINKILLERS which I will prescribe."
(Eh doctor, painkillers are so superficial.. I don't wish to see u again u know..)
"Oh so it will heal COMPLETELY like before?"
"Ya."
*$80 bucks gone*
I remember very clearly that I asked those questions becos I was real doubtful of him and the way he approached my injury. See, I'm right. Just went to see a Sinseh in the morning.. (But she wasn't strong enough.. I felt that she was merely tickling me throughout the session.. Tried real hard to minimise my sniffle LOL) and perhaps Friday I'll go again to see THE BEST SINSEH IN SG. *promote promote* He's located at People's Park, reknown in Singapore among the Sinsehs. First-come-first-serve basis, and the queue-time takes appro. half of your day. And I'm not very pleased to say that HE KNOWS ME already.. Sigh...
Some tips prior to visiting a doctor
1) DO YOUR RESEARCH.
If you already know what you are suffering from, check the internet. Most of the time doctors say things that we can find out by ourselves. Moreover the internet provides more useful and detailed infomation. So if unnecessary, don't waste time and money on nothing.
2) PREPARE A LIST OF QUESTIONS
Make full use of your consultation, it ain't cheap. Grill the doctors, make them do their job. Best still, prepare some questions with ANSWERS to test the doctors and to sound knowledgeable. Just to confirm that they know their stuff and to feel secure in their hands.. Make it a learning session too.
3) KEEP YOUR MIND CLEAR OF EVERYTHING ELSE
The sessions may sometimes be useless but out of it, the doctor may say something that is worthy to be noted. So, nevertheless, concentrate fully for that 15 minutes. (or more if you have more enquiries) Prepare your heart also to hear undesirable news.

Perhaps money is the main driving factor in many professions (Be practical right?). But I feel if anyone wants to have a 'glam' job, then for goodness' sake, live up to the name. Most of the time people would gladly and willingly pay a little more if they feel that what they received is worth the money they are paying for. And one of the reasons people complain is perhaps because they feel shortchanged.
Well, just a little piece of my mind, don't really like to write a conclusion haha.. May be lopsided and absolute in some points..

Man.. It sure does feel good not working on a monday! Went for cello lesson in the afternoon.. Love it!!! I'm loving my cello more and more hahaha..
